 is a song by Reinhard Mey.

The singing duo Inga and Wolf were supposed to participate with it in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 !

In the song, a person says goodbye to friends with whom he has once again spent one or more days.  

In addition to the hospitality, he highlights the open conversations.  Hospitality is symbolized by the light that with these friends “seems warmer” symbolized.

In the film “French for Beginners” the French version BONSOIR MES AMIS in the soundtrack  used.
